A season of disappointment

The second string followed up their promotion from the Corinthians League the previous term with a poor return to the Tyneside Amateur League and finished bottom of the table. Sam Allan and Jamie Cairns did particularly well in a side which struggled to win key games despite giving all the top teams tough matches.
