For the first time in the club's 133 year existence the first team managed to maintain their position in the premier division of the Northern Football Alliance. Two previous attempts had ended in relegation failure, the last one 102 years ago.
The managment duo of Dan Hall and Paul Taylor must be congratulated for this achievement, though a poor month in April [in which we lost eight games in a row] took the gloss off a solid if unspectacular performance.
Unfortunately Dan Hall has had to step down from his role due to work and family pressures - the club wish him well and would like to record our thanks to him for his excellent achievements over the past two seasons.
